Iron Arena is a private strength training facility as opposed to operating as a public gym with standard operating hours.
Although our members have 24-hour access, standard hours of operation vary from day to day.
Day Passes and Tours are by appointment only.
TRANSPORTATION DETAILS
The Hudson-Bergen Light Rail runs from the Bayonne Bridge all the way to Iron Arena in North Bergen, servicing Jersey City, Hoboken, Weehawken, Union City, and West New York along the way. The Light Rail Station is located at Tonnelle Ave & 49th st., Iron Arena is located at Tonnelle Ave & 43rd st.
If you are coming from NYC, the Light Rail can be picked up at several of the PATH stations in Hoboken or Jersey City, as well as most of the NY Waterway Ferry terminals. There are also NJ Transit Buses from the Port Authority Bus Terminal (bus route #127).
Driving Directions and Parking:
*Parking is usually plentiful on 43rd street as it is an industrial development. If you are unsure of where to park, please ask. We will happily direct you to more parking.
From Southern NJ / Philadelpia via Car:
Take NJ Turnpike (I-95) North
Take Exit 16 E onto RT-3 toward Lincoln Tunnel
Take ramp onto RT-3 E / Secaucus
Turn Right onto Paterson Plank Rd (CR-681)
Turn Left onto US 1&9 N (Tonnelle Ave)
Turn Left onto 43rd St (Iron Arena is on the Left at the end of the block)
From Northern NJ / NY State via Car:
Take Garden State Parkway South (Alt. Take I-95 South)
Take Exit 163 onto RT-17 S (Alt. to Exit 17 or 16W)
Take ramp onto RT-3 E toward NY / North Bergen
Turn Right onto Paterson Plank Rd (CR-681)
Turn Left onto US-1&9 N (Tonnelle Ave)
Turn Left onto 43rd St (Iron Arena is on the Left at the end of the block)
From Western NJ / Pennsylvania via Car:
Take I-80 East
Take Exit 53 onto US-46 E toward RT-3 / Meadowlands
Take ramp onto RT-3 E / Lincoln Tunnel / North Bergen
Turn Right onto Paterson Plank Rd (CR-681)
Turn Left onto US-1&9 N (Tonnelle Ave)
Turn Left onto 43rd St (Iron Arena is on the Left at the end of the block)
From NYC / Long Island via Car:
Take the Lincoln Tunnel (SR-495) to NJ
Turn Right onto US 1&9 N (Tonnelle Ave)
Turn Left onto 43rd St (Iron Arena is on the Left at the end of the block)

Get on PATH train to HOBOKEN, JOURNAL SQUARE or NEWARK
Get off at HOBOKEN, NEWPORT-PAVONIA or EXCHANGE PLACE
Exit PATH station and follow signs to Light Rail
Get on Hudson-Bergen Light Rail toward TONNELLE AVE

From NYC via NY Waterway:
Get on Ferry to PORT IMPERIAL, LINCOLN HARBOR, HOBOKEN TERMINAL, NEWPORT, PAULUS HOOK or LIBERTY HARBOR
Exit Ferry terminal and follow signs to Light Rail
Get on Hudson-Bergen Light Rail toward TONNELLE AVE
Follow directions below (From Hudson County)
From NYC via Bus:
Go to Port Authority Bus Terminal (8th Ave. at 41st St.)
Go to Gate 230 (Purchase tickets beforehand, Bus 127, Zone 2)
Get on NJ Transit Bus #127 (Ridgefield)
Ask driver to let you off at 43rd St & Bergen Tpke
Walk West on 43rd St across US 1&9 (Tonnelle Ave)
Enter Iron Arena on Left at the end of the block
From Hudson County via Light Rail:
Get on Hudson-Bergen Light Rail toward TONNELLE AVE
(From Bayonne transfer at NEWPORT-PAVONIA)
Get off at TONNELLE AVE station
Walk up stairs on Tonnelle Ave (US 1&9) South side
